Our Goats

Our dairy goats are purebred Nubians. We prefer Nubians because of their gentle personalities and their high butterfat milk which is great for cheese making, ice cream, and other creamy delights. The goats have access to pasture & are fed good quality alfalfa hay (chemical free). At milking time, they are fed grain coated with molasses and black oil sunflower seeds (for creamier milk). Our herd is tested regularly and is negative for CAE and TB. We maintain proper & gentle milking procedures and pay careful attention to their health. We believe this is the best way to ensure they produce nutritious, good-tasting milk and healthy kids!
