At Blue Barn you will find our hens out scratching for food during the day and in the protection of the barn at night. They receive plenty of non-medicated food, fresh well water and daily exercise. Our chickens never have to cross the road for something better! You will find our chickens have a bit of character that shows in their egg shell color! Besides the varying shades of brown eggs you will also find green, blue, or speckled eggs tucked in the cartons.
Free-range eggs are different than factory eggs. They will have a harder shell, deeper yolk color and flavor that is unmatched. Research has shown the greatest thing about free-range eggs is their nutritional value. You get more of what you need!
